Why we built this
The problem isn't a lack of news — it's a lack of context. A reader in London, Mumbai, or Lagos can access hundreds of outlets, but their feed shows them the same framing, the same sources, the same angle. Bias isn't always deliberate; it's often structural.
SourceTrace's Spider View maps how every major outlet covers the same story in real time. It's not fact-checking — it's perspective mapping. Showing you that Reuters, Al Jazeera, and The Hindu are covering the same event in fundamentally different ways is itself a form of media literacy.
